Danvers, MA – Danvers Outdoor Fruit Trees has put up a little competition with an outdoor fruit tree competition for those interested in picking up some of the world’s most iconic fruit trees.
The competition is taking place at the Danvers City Market and you can see how you can win some prizes here.
The competition is open from Monday, February 18 through Saturday, February 21, and winners will be notified via email and the Danver City Market’s Facebook page.
Danvers is located just north of Boston, about 20 miles from downtown.
The City Market is located across from the Boston Convention Center.
The prize:A prize package for a total of $1,000 in cash, a Danvers Community Choice Award, a medal in the 2017 Boston-area Fruit & Vegetable Festival, and a one-year membership to Danvers.
Danvers has long been known for its vibrant outdoor food scene.
The city also hosts the Boston Garden Festival, the annual Boston Beer Festival and the annual Summer Festivals.
In addition to the fruit trees and garden competition, Danvers has hosted the annual Danvers Festival of Lights.
The festival has been held annually since 2005.
This year’s festival is sponsored by the Danse Show, which is owned and operated by Danvers Mayor Thomas R. Gassman.
